Feature Ideas for Future ChatGPT Updates
1. Access to Past Conversations and Images
Add an optional feature that allows ChatGPT to retrieve relevant information, images, and other content from any previous conversation in the user’s account, going all the way back to when the account was created.
For example, if a user remembers discussing something years ago but doesn’t remember exactly what they said, they could ask ChatGPT to search their previous conversations and bring that information back into the current conversation.
This could also include the ability to retrieve and reference images from previous conversations, so users could say things like, “Can you find that picture I showed you a few years ago?” and ChatGPT could locate it if it still exists in their conversation history.
The user should have control over this feature, including the ability to choose whether ChatGPT can access older conversations and previous images.
2. Much More Accent-Color Customization
Expand ChatGPT’s accent-color customization so users aren’t limited to a small selection of colors.
Instead, allow users to choose from a very large range of shades and variations for every major color—for example, hundreds of different shades of red, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, and other colors.
Ideally, users could select virtually any shade they want, rather than being limited to predefined choices.
Availability
These features should be available to everyone, from Free users through paid plans such as Plus, Pro, and higher tiers. They shouldn’t be locked behind a subscription solely because they’re customization or convenience features.
