The Official ImageGen, 4o and Dall-E Megathread

Oouuughff… those opals really got to you, eh? Well if it helps, I reluctantly banged my head against opalescence to try and cheer you up, and am now also upset with opals :face_with_steam_from_nose:

… ugh, where is my requested refracted/diffracted light beam?!? Come on brah…

:expressionless_face:… when did these image gens get snarky AF? Try again!…

… okay, much better, but WHY the heart??? Is it supposed to be the Heart of the Ocean or something?… just do it right please…

… I quit… maybe I’ll have better luck with @phyde1001’s Glass Beads :man_shrugging:t2::grimacing::face_blowing_a_kiss:

Not bad, really :gem_stone::sparkling_heart:

However, no light shines through an opal and therefore cannot … ah, I’ll leave that for now :sweat_smile::face_with_hand_over_mouth:

@windysoliloquy and @Bleatlock thanks a lot, both of you :gem_stone::cherry_blossom:

I tried to mix two styles, from photorealistic to painterly, then I cancelled it and wrote it down as “ImageGen in overfitting”.

The mountains are ok and the butterfly is good… but the northern lights :thinking:

@polepole and @phyde1001 do you have any ideas?

______

@FlameKnight380 I guess a new hoodie is needed :cherry_blossom:

My prompt below :slight_smile:

“Image(Wide, A beautiful Aurora over a pristine landscape)”

“ok I want you to create 10 separate incremental images of this aurora for a stop frame animation”

ok next…

generally mixing two styles has been extremely problematic.

so far i’ve been able to work around it by brining ‘inter-dimensional objects’ into the dominate style, and effectively prompt the new object to be rendered as something in another style with clever prompting.

hope that helps :slight_smile:

@windysoliloquy and @phyde1001 thanks for the tips :blush::cherry_blossom:

I’ve made a few attempts:
Pencil → Painting → Photorealistic.

These three styles in one picture … well, you have to look closely at the photorealism on the right edge :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

Maybe trying to train up a ‘sandbox style’ that gives specific rules for generating objects from completely different styles would pan out.

If the amount of time it took to train up making yarn have metallic sheen and iridescence is any indicator on the amount of time it would take to get there, lol…

Better get started on it sooner than later.

Maybe if we generally agreed upon a name for that sort of style and all tried to call for it once in a while it would help?

:thinking: :thought_balloon:
