Which brings up an observation: Many of the new images create with gpt-image-1 and 4o are, by default, shaded too dark. For me, it’s very noticable on this thread and with images that I create. I know my eyes are getting old, so I’m asking if my observations are valid?
@_j Looks like I can prompt brightness and contrast: “Recreate the image making the goat and pig hands more like hooves. Then make the image five shades lighter. Then increase blue channel color a little and decrease red channel color a little.”

Maybe the gpt-image-1 API could use a few more parameters:
Brightness: blue (0% to 100%); red (0% to 100%); green (0% to 100%)
Contrast : (0% to 100%)
