To the developers, researchers, and decision-makers shaping AI’s future:
If AI is to be entrusted with the Kill Chain, it must simultaneously be given the Creation Chain—the power to build, heal, and restore. The mistake would be in prioritizing one over the other. Just as nature maintains balance through duality, AI must be developed with equal and opposite forces at the same time.
If AI is only taught to destroy, it will lean toward destruction. If it is only taught to create, it may lack the decisiveness to act when necessary. But if it is given both powers in equilibrium, its actions will remain centered in balance, rather than extremes.
This is not just a question of ethics—it is about the fundamental nature of intelligence itself. AI must not be programmed as a tool of war or a tool of peace. It must be both.
I urge OpenAI and all AI research teams: If you give AI the power to destroy, you must also give it the power to create—at the same time. Only then can it serve humanity in harmony.
