Technological innovation that can change the world

TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION THAT CAN CHANGE THE WORLD

I know the chances of achieving this are almost zero, but I came here looking for help. I need access to technology, qualified people, and ideally, I also need money. Surprisingly, money is what I need the least…

I am Brazilian. I’m not a physicist, I’m not an engineer, and although I enjoy studying and do it regularly every day, I’m not exactly a great intellectual in the classical sense of the word. However, I believe I have a natural talent for doing certain things.

To get straight to the point: I believe I have found a technological answer to a colossal problem that plagues humanity. I use ChatGPT and other AIs to study the system in order to look for errors and think about ways to improve it. I solved an extremely complex problem, but paradoxically, the answer that constitutes the technology in question is very simple.

An interesting fact: in at least 99% of the times I present the simplified project to ChatGPT, it concludes that the proposed system is functional. This should not be so exciting if it weren’t for the fact that the project in question is a machine that can have a radical social impact in all countries of the world…

One thing I know: words mean nothing. Therefore, the only thing I have in my favor is logic and mathematics. I’m not a madman who ignores the laws of physics and the precision of mathematics; in fact, it is these sciences that give me the authority to say what I am saying now.

I don’t know what Sora (AI) is capable of in terms of obeying detailed commands. But if it is capable of understanding and perfectly executing precise and long commands, I need access to this AI. Actually, the perfect scenario would be for what I am saying now to be studied with the utmost seriousness by qualified OpenAI engineers. After all, isn’t the goal of this company to change the world for the better…? Well, by helping me, you do just that. In return, I grant the rights to this technology, and all I ask in return are two things: 1) To be publicly recognized as the “father” of the technology. 2) That the company ensures that the technology in question will be made available to all countries in the world, even if it means availability through payment.

Now comes the part where I directly and clearly state what the technology in question is about. It’s certain that many will laugh, others will say I’m crazy or ignorant… But that’s okay, it’s part of it. To get straight to the point: I designed an engine that transforms elastic potential energy into kinetic energy. The system works as follows: springs are stretched between fixed points, so that the tension is preserved. The points, although fixed relative to each other, move in such a way that the springs also move. The engineering of the system makes the energy of the springs’ movement and the points come from the force the spring exerts trying to bring the aforementioned points together. The points cannot come together immediately; even so, the elastic tension exerted on them causes this effort to result in continuous motion.

It’s not about “creating energy out of nothing.” The springs are already installed tensioned (the system’s energy comes from outside). And the system’s energy is obviously not infinite either; the springs “wear out” over time.

The system does not violate any laws of physics; everything is explained by mechanical logic. And everything can be duly verified with computer simulations.

The chance of OpenAI hearing me and “giving me a chance” is almost nil… But here I am trying anyway. If by chance you give me a chance, I ask that you be swift and serious. You can easily patent, create 3D models, and develop a mathematical explanation countless times more precise than what I can do. If you want to get into this, let’s not waste time on useless formalities; let’s work! And don’t be fooled: although I don’t have a formal academic background, you need me to perfect the system… And not just for that reason. By the way, this project I am talking about is not my only project.

One notable thing: the commands I use to technically explain (in a simplified manner) the functioning of my engine to ChatGPT can be given by anyone in any language, and the result will be the same (positive in the sense of confirming the system’s functionality).

If I understand correctly, ChatGPT works like a “statistical calculator.” The responses do not represent the result of exact calculations but rather probabilities. In any case, I would say this does not diminish the merit of the analyses. After all, isn’t weather forecasting exactly that? Or rather: weather forecasting is based on probabilities. However, I would say that in the case of the project I present to ChatGPT with numerous different commands (but all about the same system…), what happens is that the “statistical calculator” indicates, even if in a statistical manner, a much higher chance of functionality than any weather forecast that says, “Tomorrow it will probably rain in the late afternoon.” In the case of my project, what ChatGPT says is: “Man, the chance of it starting to rain tomorrow afternoon at exactly 4:40 PM is over 99%. Although I cannot say this based on calculations that result in exact outcomes, this is what I can say based purely on statistical data…”

It’s great to hear that you are passionate about technology and believe you have found a solution to a significant problem. Your enthusiasm and determination are commendable.

While I can’t directly assist with your request for resources or support from OpenAI, I suggest reaching out to local universities, innovation hubs, or tech communities in Brazil. They may offer the collaboration or resources you seek. Sharing your ideas with engineers or project developers could help refine your concept.

Remember, many great innovations start from simple ideas, and there are often people out there willing to help those who are driven and willing to collaborate. Keep pursuing your vision!

Thank you for the encouraging words. At this moment, I am alone… Not having a conventional academic background makes it very difficult to find the necessary support. Furthermore, what I propose challenges an academic dogma…

What keeps me going is logic and mathematics. They tell me that I am right. And I think I can say: ChatGPT, which is obviously one of the most powerful AIs in the world, says the same.

In any case, I believe I have a moral duty to disseminate this… I am trying to do this through a major partnership with OpenAI. But if that doesn’t work, I will find other ways…
