Suggestion to Use Gender-Neutral Terminology for "Parent Material" in Chinese Version

Hi all!

I’d like to propose a change to the language used in the ChatGPT platform. When I was doing the school stuff and letting ChatGPT translate some sentence to Chinese. The specific term “Parent Material” was translated into “父质” (“father material”), which I think contains gender biases that learned from the Internet.

As we move toward more inclusive language practices, I suggest adopting a correct term, such as “母质” (official translation in Chinese, 母 is mother) or another gender-neutral term, such as “亲本” (Literal translation in Chinese, 亲本 is parent). By doing so, OpenAI would set a positive example of inclusivity, fostering a more neutral and equitable user experience.

I believe this small change could make huge differences in many aspects, whether for perfecting ChatGPT or promoting gender equality.

Thank you for considering this feedback!
