Feature Suggestion for ChatGPT: Break Reminders & Collaborative Sessions
I’d like to propose two interface/functionality improvements for ChatGPT:
Break Reminder Feature – An optional setting where the AI can gently suggest taking short breaks during prolonged sessions. Ideally, this would include:
A toggle to enable/disable.
A slider to set reminder frequency (e.g., every 1–4 hours).
An optional “random interval” mode (e.g., reminders every 2–4 hours) for a more natural, less robotic interaction flow.
Collaborative Sessions (Group Mode) – A feature allowing two or more verified users to link their sessions and interact with ChatGPT together in real time. Think of it like a digital brainstorming table or “AI workbubble” where ideas can be tossed around between users and the AI, facilitating deeper collaboration.
I believe both features would enhance productivity, promote healthy usage habits, and broaden use cases for ChatGPT in work and creative environments.
