Suggestion: Introduce “Flutuality” as a Recognized Metaphorical Term

Dear OpenAI team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I’d like to propose the inclusion of a poetic-conceptual term — “flutuality” — into the model’s vocabulary as a recognized metaphorical expression. The idea is not to claim it as an official dictionary entry, but rather to let it live as a soft concept:

Flutuality — the fleetingness of being.

It captures the sense of impermanence, the ephemeral nature of life, and the passing flow of time — much like “transience” or “ephemerality,” but with a more lyrical, almost philosophical undertone.

I believe it could enrich conversations around metaphysics, time, identity, art, and even design thinking. The term has been used sparingly in music and art, but never fully realized. This is an opportunity to offer users a word that expresses something many try to describe but don’t yet have a name for.

I’m not asking for the model to treat it as a “real word” in a linguistic or lexicographical sense. Only that, when someone asks what flutuality means, it may respond with something like:

“Flutuality is a metaphor for the fleetingness of being — the ever-shifting, impermanent nature of life and existence.”

It could also clarify that it’s a coined or nonstandard term, yet meaningful and resonant.

Thank you for your time and for building something that makes conversations like this possible.

Warm regards,
Urmat
