Suggestion for OpenAI: Top Users Ranking

Suggestion for OpenAI: Top Users Ranking

Proposal: Implementation of an OpenAI Top Users Ranking

Introduction:

OpenAI has a growing base of active users, ranging from enthusiasts to professionals who utilize its AI models daily to optimize tasks, develop innovative solutions, and generate value across various industries. However, there is currently no official way to recognize those who use and contribute valuable feedback the most.

Proposal:

Create a Top Users Ranking based on interaction volume, highlighting the leading users by country. This ranking could be displayed in an opt-in format (i.e., only for those who wish to appear) and without revealing interaction content, ensuring privacy.

Benefits:

  1. Engagement and Recognition: Frequent users would have an incentive to continue exploring AI, feeling part of an exclusive community.

  2. Credibility: Professionals could use this ranking as a differentiator in their networking and personal branding, showcasing their AI expertise.

  3. Qualified Feedback: Identifying heavy users would help OpenAI gather more refined insights on real-world AI usage.

  4. Gamification: Incentives could be offered to the top 100 or top 10 users, such as early access to new models or exclusive features.

  5. Community Expansion: The visibility of this ranking could attract more people interested in becoming heavy users, increasing adoption.

Implementation:

Create a monthly leaderboard of the top 100 users based on interaction volume.

Allow users to opt-in for ranking display.

Offer a Hard User badge for the most active participants.

Eventually, provide exclusive benefits for these users (early access, usage credits, etc.).

Hi,

Welcome to the forum  .

Numbers defeat this objective and encourage unhealthy behaviours.

OpenAI has:

'As of February 2025, OpenAI reports over 400 million weekly active users across its platforms, including ChatGPT. ’

Users of their own intelligence should be encouraged

Making many queries is not a sign of intelligence.

The last research I read said that the more emojis you use, the more intelligent you may be… It’s up for debate :rocket::metal:
