I love chatgpt. Sometimes I wish there were folders though to put all my conversations in to categorize them. I do a lot with astrology and also a ton of other things and its hard to sort through because i like new conversations for each subject. Also, when its generating PDFS and its something longer than 3 or 4 pages it doesnt include everything in the conversation even when I said “Make a pdf of this entire conversation. Leave nothing out” it will say it left nothing out and it basically left all of it out lol
Suggested Feutures to add. Folders and fixing whatever bug that helps to generate pdfs without error
Hey Jenny,
Our prayers had been answered and now we got the project folders to put conversations on similar topics together. I am also an astrologer and I had been dealing with this issue the whole year, coming up with codes for the conversation titles so I could find every astrology conversations (topic analysis/subject chart/transit studies) and my whole other work, study, and daily life more easily (but still not easy).
It sounds that you use GPT for similar purposes as I do regarding astrology work, so I would also suggest you to use a google extension for prompt saving, as for astrology you usually find yourself reminding GPT again and again about some premises (ex. your fundamental analysis for the 9th house, the prompt for what the sun represents in case it forgets something, just to name some basic examples). This saves so much time when you start some new analysis and suddenly you notice that something that was included in a previous part is now being left out randomly in another result. Save time and prompt it out from the beginning with your already realiable-astrology prompts saved. I use AI Prompt Genius for now, but it would be the best if chatGPT had this tool integrated.
As for the PDF issue: After subjecting this problem to reverse engineering and Python-based analysis, we concluded that the generated PDF document is not fully faithful to the specified conversation content and it is not a problem that arises from prompting. While most of the text is included, discrepancies arise due to issues in text segmentation, encoding, and reassembly during the generation process. Line breaks, spaces, and special characters (e.g., quotes or apostrophes) are sometimes misinterpreted, leading to omissions or alterations. Additionally, processing long fragments can result in minor truncations or formatting inconsistencies.
OpenAI should review how content is segmented and processed during document generation to ensure that the text’s encoding, structure, and format remain unchanged. Integrating validation tools to confirm fidelity before finalizing the document would effectively address this issue.
In the meantime, the easiest and accurate way to do this is to copy what you need from your GPT conversation into a Word sheet and then convert to PDF.
