Subject: Seamless ChatGPT ↔ GitHub Copilot Chat Sync for Project Continuity

Message:

Hi team,

I’m a developer working on a smart mobility system (Voyage Link), and I use both ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot in my workflow.

One feature that would make a huge difference is the ability to continue a ChatGPT conversation inside GitHub Copilot Chat β€” especially when both are linked via the same GitHub account.

For example:

I brainstorm and plan systems (like an IoT SRE agent) in ChatGPT

I log in to GitHub with the same email

I want to continue that conversation directly within the repo context, using GPT-4 for implementation β€” without starting from scratch

This would allow seamless back-and-forth between high-level design and real-time code writing, improving developer productivity, especially for founders and indie builders.

Please consider syncing project-aware conversations between ChatGPT and Copilot Chat β€” or at least letting us import/export threads or memory into GitHub Copilot context.

Thanks for the great tools β€” they’ve helped me accelerate innovation in Kenya!
