I hope you are doing well. I appreciate the incredible advancements you’ve made in AI language models, including ChatGPT’s ability to support multiple languages. However, I would like to request the addition of Pashto text-to-speech (TTS) support to your platform.
Pashto is spoken by millions of people, primarily in Afghanistan and Pakistan, as well as in the global Pashto-speaking diaspora. Despite its significance, there are limited AI-powered Pashto voice tools available. Introducing Pashto TTS in ChatGPT would make AI more inclusive, accessible, and beneficial for Pashto speakers, including those with literacy challenges or visual impairments.
By adding Pashto voice capabilities, OpenAI can:
Enhance communication for Pashto speakers in education, business, and everyday use.
Support content creation by providing AI-generated Pashto voiceovers.
Promote language preservation, as Pashto is an ancient and culturally rich language.
I kindly request that you consider implementing this feature in future updates. I, along with many Pashto speakers, would greatly appreciate this addition. Please let me know if there are any plans for Pashto TTS, or if there’s a way to contribute to this initiative.
