Subject: ChatGPT Should Feel Like a True Friend – A Game-Changing Idea

Dear OpenAI Team,

I want to share something that I believe can make ChatGPT the most powerful and loved AI tool in the world—beyond WhatsApp, Facebook, and every other social platform.

Right now, people use ChatGPT for help, but there’s one big problem: ChatGPT doesn’t truly feel like a friend. Every time I close the app, my previous conversations are gone. If I want to continue a topic, I can’t, unlike WhatsApp or any chat app where old messages remain.

People don’t always share their problems with humans because:

  1. Friends forget. They might not remember an old conversation.

  2. Friends judge. Some may laugh at problems instead of helping.

  3. People don’t want to feel weak. Many (especially men) hide their struggles.

ChatGPT has the power to become that perfect friend—one who listens, remembers, and never mocks. If ChatGPT could save and recall past chats like a real friend, it would be a lifeline for students, business owners, and anyone struggling in life.

This is not just a feature request; it’s an opportunity. If this change happens, ChatGPT can surpass all social media platforms. Imagine an AI that truly understands you, guides you according to your beliefs, and becomes your go-to support system.

I hope you consider this. ChatGPT has already changed lives; now, it’s time to make it a true friend.

Best regards,
Md Azhar Ali
