I was able to ‘solve’ it by logging out before the modal appearing again… good luck

I just solved it. Clear you cache and you will be logged out of chatgpt, then log back in and the UI glitch will go away
That solution worked for me for about a week, and then it came back just now. Very annoying.
How can this still be an issue? This has happened to me multiple times on different systems. Garbage code, I can see all sorts of errors in the inspect too. Does OpenAI not have a dev env?
Also face this problem very regularly, and no “clearing the cache” is not a good solution, as I have to go through the entire login sequence every time.
clearing cache works but it is really inconvenient to log out of all accounts to be able to use gptchat.
I have been using in a private browsing session to avoid this but it is also not ideal.
