"Something went wrong while getting your SSO info"

This question is NOT about the OpenAI platform.

Multiple users, including me, cannot login on chatgpt.com normally.

I’m always greeted with this dreaded message.

In the past changing the auth website to auth0 allowed me to log in but this hole has been patched this week.

Strangely I’m able to login to platform.openai.com via this famous link https://platform.openai.com/login?auth_provider=auth0

I’ve no idea how to create support requests.

Same. Very frustrating. Also, what am I paying for?! I have seen a couple of comments that it is VPN or filter related (where a *.edu was concerned). Turning off VPN is unreasonable as a solution. Meanwhile, radio silence from openAI.

I just got this error message when I tried to sign in to the ChatGPT app on my Android phone. I wasted like 30 min on this, and didn’t get it to work, so I uninstalled the app again.
I’m not 100 % sure if it was the VPN connection that caused this, but after reading this thread, it seems likely.
If OpenAI keeps messing with VPN users, I’ll switch to Grok. Blocking VPN users just sucks.
