Dear Developers,
I am getting no help from OpenAI support - just bots asking me to try a number of things. I was able to log into Chatgpt earlier…then removed t a login for my Chatgpt session before (caused by another app and codex), but now there is an endless loop of a message to confirm my identity via a code being sent to me via text and there is no text. There is no other MFA authentication. I can log into Chatgpt via my browser (at times) and the chat is working but I can’t edit anything in security without it reverting me back to that message.
I am completely locked out of my OpenAI security settings due to a multi-factor authentication failure. Every time I try to access my security tab, I am hit with an identity re-verification prompt that fails to send an SMS text and states ‘that option is unavailable’. My phone number is trapped in a backend rate limit loop. Please temporarily disable my SMS MFA or clear the rate limit on my number so I can regain access and transition my account to an authenticator app. Thank you.
