I’ve been using ChatGPT mostly for schoolwork, and there’s a feature I’d really love to see. Often I want to ask a follow-up question about a specific reply in the conversation, without having to continue the main thread or start a new chat. It becomes really messy with new questions and follow-up questions here and there from one chat.
My suggestion is to add a feature like a small bubble or sidebar that lets me ask additional questions related to a specific message from ChatGPT. This way, I can keep the main chat going with other topics, while still being able to dive deeper into previous replies in a more organized way.
I know there’s a sidebar feature, but it just adds the reply to the main chat. What I’m looking for is a separate space for follow-up questions—still within the same chat, but not mixed into the main conversation
