I create an individual thread for each one of my students. I imagine that therapists and other professionals that work on personal growth for a series of clients could use Chat GPT like this. The problem I have is that when I was using Chat GPT plus before Pro came out, I would have to use a main 4o thread to process all of the information, and then I would have to use extra Math GPTs and Writing GPTs in order to get the highest quality analysis possible on the student’s work. This required a lot of copy and paste between threads in order to collaborate between all of them.
Now that we have o1, it can do what all of the previous threads could to together and better, but I can’t simply switch from 4o to o1, I have to go through and copy and paste everything. This is very tedious. It would solve a ton of time if it were possible to upgrade a thread from 4o to o1, or even better, if there were a way for an o1 thread to link to another 4o thread and then view or copy all of the information from that thread into the higher one.
Is there already an efficient way to do this? If not, could they consider adding that?
