I’ve noticed several issues with Work conversations and the Classic ChatGPT app across macOS and Android.
1. Missing conversation management options for Work conversations
In the new ChatGPT macOS app, normal conversations have options such as Share, Rename, Pin, Archive, and Delete.
However, Work conversations don’t have these options. Their menu only shows Work-related actions such as Work and Run on your computer.
Expected: Work conversations should have normal management options, especially Delete and Rename.
2. Work conversations are missing from Classic macOS and Android
Work conversations are visible normally in the new ChatGPT macOS app, but the same conversations do not appear in either the Classic macOS app or the Android app.
Normal ChatGPT conversations still appear across these clients.
This results in different conversation histories being shown on the same account depending on which ChatGPT client is being used.
3. Work conversations also appear in Codex
I did not create these conversations in Codex. They were created in ChatGPT Work mode.
However, when I open Codex → Recent in the new macOS app, those Work conversations also appear there.
This makes it look like Work and Codex may share some conversation/task history, although I can’t tell whether this is intentional.
4. Model name does not update correctly in the Classic macOS app
When changing models in the Classic app, the model name shown in the UI sometimes remains on the previous model.
For example:
GPT-5.6 Sol → select GPT-5.5 Instant → UI still displays GPT-5.6 Sol
I’m not sure whether this is only a UI issue or whether the model switch itself is also affected.
