ChatGpt chats have been fully retained until today. Now several are missing from the left pane. I did see a message listing one or missing at a time (messages stated that they could not be found). There was no explanation. Otherwise, I do not know what has happened. Help please.

@wyaddow I saw this once 1 year ago and didn’t get them back… maybe technical updates, system issues…
When training a new AI model, errors can sometimes occur, and data—like chat histories—may occasionally be lost. 
AI companies rely heavily on user interactions to train and improve their models. (Without user data, they’d struggle to deliver the high-performance AI we see today. 
They may claim to be ‘benefiting society’ by offering AI to users for free 
, but the reality is that user data is essential for these models to evolve.)
…Just imagine the kind of ‘monster’ it could become with real-time data from countless companies… Yeah, it’ll be super performant, but I wish AI companies would start building bridges of trust with users and businesses when it comes to data. They could run some real campaigns to make everyone aware of how sharing their data actually helps improve these models.
Sometimes, I think AI could act as a Trojan Horse within GDPR. Even the Chinese have recognized this and have set rules for Chinese companies that want to integrate AI into their business, understanding that data can easily be weaponized.
With AI, you could profile each user, each company, etc., to target them… or sell the data for huge amounts of money, enabling their competition to do the same. “

This is why big companies are interested in nuclear energy… 
NOTE: I’m not targeting any specific AI company here. These are general concerns about AI, data privacy, and security that need proactive attention to prevent potential misuse.
