ChatKit is one of the fastest ways to ship an agentic app right now. Not only is the UI very sleek, it bridges the gap between normal workers and AI. That’s where the real value is: making it possible for non-programmers to build real apps. ChatKit is exactly the kind of tool that unlocks that. But it has to be auditable.

The problem is the JS script loaded from OpenAI’s CDN at runtime. Most corporations won’t approve a remotely hosted script that can change without notice. Not a trust issue, just a need for auditability.

Nobody’s out-of-the-box UI can touch ChatKit.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

yeah, the repo is not the full code, huh.

I think you would be forced to make your own or adapt another open source solution (of which there are many).

in the age of Codex this is a more reasonable task.
