Selected model is at capacity. Please try a different model. this err keep showing

i am using terra high, but this err happen again and again today. why?

I don’t believe this is a bug but happy for OpenAI staff to weigh in.

Load issues. Peak demand. I’m afraid it happens to the best of us. I’m sure OpenAI is working to increase capacity.

Either that or increase prices to reflect demand. That would sort the issue out too

Have you tried waking up earlier?

This error keeps popping up over and over again all day long, and I’m exclusively running tasks on Terra High right now. I’ve retried dozens of times with different input lengths and request intervals, yet the error still recurs without any obvious pattern, which really gets in the way of my development work. I’m starting to suspect that this consistent malfunction stems from the platform’s extremely fast user growth recently. As more developers switch to high-end Terra High for complex code reasoning tasks, the overall computational load on the server side has spiked sharply. If the backend computing resources fail to scale up synchronously to accommodate the massive growing demand, insufficient GPU and inference capacity would lead to constant request failures and repetitive error alerts for Terra High users. Has anyone else faced the same looping error on Terra High due to tight compute supply?

I’ve had it with Terra and Sol.

Just do as it says or walk away for a few hours.

Switching to Sol medium might be a good alternative when Terra is busy.

Yeah, the compute is still working to catch up with demand, I think.

The alternative would be to price it higher and only allow big corpos and deep pockets to have access. I commend OpenAI for trying to be fair with access - even as they’re trying their best to keep the servers humming.

This may now be resolved.

I got Sol and that was the message that I got after starting the second turn in codex.

Thankfully I guess because Terra on x-high which I used then just rocks! It drifted maybe 3 times so I had to clean up the code manually and explain where it got the architecture wrong but the rest? Extraordinary cool stuff!

I don’t know if I would have tried Terra if that error didn’t pop up.

So, thank you!
