Route scheduled automations to specific chats or folders

Please allow users to assign each ChatGPT automation to a chosen conversation, Project, folder, or alert channel.

For example:

  • Stock-market alerts → Wall Street Daily
  • Sports-betting alerts → Sports Betting HQ
  • Dividend updates → Dividend Portfolio
  • Business reminders → Business Administration

Each automation should preserve the context of its assigned chat and deliver notifications there automatically instead of placing all scheduled updates together.

Useful controls would include:

  • Choose a destination chat when creating or editing an automation
  • Create dedicated automation channels
  • Separate notification settings for each channel
  • Pin and organize automation feeds
  • Maintain topic-specific history and context
  • Move an existing automation to another chat

This would be especially useful for customers running several recurring workflows and would make automation notifications much easier to organize.

Being able to assign each automation to a specific conversation, Project, folder, or notification channel would make recurring updates much easier to organize, especially for users managing several workflows at once.

The controls you suggested, such as choosing a destination when creating an automation, moving existing automations, and keeping topic-specific history and notifications separate, would help make the experience much more manageable.
