I’d like to suggest adding embedded street map data to ChatGPT (or similar models) so it can provide basic directions, routes, and location logic — even without relying on Google Maps or real-time GPS. AI could use public map sources like OpenStreetMap, and updates could be pushed to the cloud when new roads are added.
This would make the AI more helpful in everyday use (e.g., finding directions, navigating local areas) and reduce dependency on third-party services. It’s a lightweight feature that could make a huge difference, especially for offline use or in regions with limited access to GPS-based apps.
