Requesting App Store Analytics Data

On behalf of the community I’m kindly requesting app store analytics data - similar to what Apple and Google provide.

I’d like to know the top apps per category, what kind of traffic they are getting, how are their apps being surfaced (search, conversation, etc…)

Everyone I’ve talked to seems to be getting 0 traffic to their apps, minus bot traffic.

We are all curious if this is because the ChatGPT App Store is not getting any traffic, or if we’ve done something wrong with our apps.

I have a lot of medical self-help apps I’ve already built and need more information about analytics before I commit to building more here.

Hey Jonathan - really appreciate you raising this, and you’re definitely not alone here.

We’ve been hearing similar feedback from others in the community around limited visibility into traffic, discovery, and overall app performance. Right now, ChatGPT doesn’t offer analytics at the same level as app stores like Apple or Google (e.g. traffic sources, category rankings, etc.), so it can be hard to tell what’s working vs. what’s just not being surfaced yet.

We’ll make sure this feedback is captured and shared with the team, since better analytics and discovery insights are a common ask.
