Request for Enhancement: Accurate Pattern Replication in AI-Generated Image

Dear OpenAI Team,

I recently encountered a limitation with the DALL-E image generation feature that I’d like to bring to your attention. I was attempting to generate an image of a bathroom interior using a specific tile pattern provided in an uploaded image. The objective was to replicate the exact tile pattern across the entirety of a bathroom wall in the generated image.

Despite several attempts and varied approaches, including creating super-detailed descriptions of the original pattern, the AI-generated images did not accurately replicate the pattern from the uploaded image. It seems that the system struggles with precision replication of existing patterns, which was a critical requirement for my project.

This limitation is understandable given the complexities of image generation, but I believe improvements in this area could significantly enhance the utility of the feature for design-related tasks where specific pattern replication is needed.

I appreciate the ongoing efforts to improve AI tools and hope this feedback is helpful for future updates.

Best regards,

Bo
