I’m reaching out to inquire about the ability to manage prompts through the OpenAI API. Currently, it seems that prompts can only be created, saved, and versioned via the OpenAI dashboard. However, I’m interested in knowing if there are any API endpoints that would allow for programmatic management of prompts — such as creating, updating, listing, and deleting prompts as reusable entities.
Is there an API endpoint available or planned for managing prompts in this way? If not, is there any beta or enterprise-level access that provides this functionality?
Having this capability would greatly enhance automation and streamline workflows, so any information or updates on this feature would be greatly appreciated.
