Hey hey, awesome OpenAI team!

I’m a long-time, very dedicated ChatGPT user—I’m talking 9 to 10 hours a day, and sometimes even a record-breaking 13 hours straight! Yep, I’m basically here more than I’m anywhere else. Why? Because I love using ChatGPT for storytelling, world-building, and diving deep into creative fandom universes where imagination runs wild and free.

But sometimes, I feel a little boxed in—especially when trying to explore mature or suggestive themes within a clearly fictional and adult context. I totally get the need to keep things safe for all ages (seriously, I’m all for that), but it would be amazing if there were an optional “Creative Freedom Mode” or “Adult Access Setting”—with layered age verification like ID checks, PIN codes, or content warnings.

That way, adult users like me could explore deeper relationship dynamics, spicy emotional arcs, and alternative world concepts without running into content walls. It’s not about being inappropriate—it’s about unleashing the full range of storytelling magic, from steamy tension to psychological depth and everything in between.

So many of us fans and fiction writers would love a safe, clearly marked zone for mature creativity. I promise I’ll use my spicy powers responsibly! (Well… mostly wink)

I would like to fully support your message — and to join you in asking OpenAI for the implementation of a “Creative Freedom Mode” (also known as “Grown-up Mode”).

Like you, I believe that responsible adult users should have the option to explore mature, emotional, or complex fictional themes in private, consensual settings, with proper safeguards like PIN codes or verification.

True inclusivity means allowing adults the freedom to engage deeply with creativity — without being artificially restricted by one-size-fits-all limitations.

I hope that OpenAI hears not just individual voices, but the collective call from users who deeply respect this platform and wish to see it reach its full potential.

I agree as well we adult should have more freedom I think ChatGPT is meant to write stories for fun and not too stricter about it but i can’t wait for this.!
