Yesterday, I submitted the prompt and received the reply but today I can’t find it in the chaty.
I hit a looping glitch:
- The search tells me the message exists
- I click the result and it opens the right chat, but doesn’t jump or highlight❌
- I scroll and use
Ctrl+F, and even with the whole chat leaded, I can’t find the message 
- And because the actual message never appears, I can’t thumbs-down it or give feedback
So basically, I’m told something’s there… but Ican’t see it, search it, or report it.
That is 100% a UI/UX fail,

Same problem here, the prompts randomly disappear after refreshing the page, but Chat GPT answer remains.

Is there a reason why it’s not responding correctly
i have the exact same issue. the response i got is there, but the prompt i entered is missing. this is especially troublesome, as in some cases i edited a prompt i had entered earlier and it’s disappeared post-edit, so i can’t access the thread that was under the previous iteration of the prompt. honestly, they should just make the UI work differently so this issue can’t even arise.
