I’d love to see ChatGPT send push notifications to my phone when a permission request appears during a remote session.
For example, when I’m controlling ChatGPT remotely from my phone and the desktop session requires my approval (such as granting permission to run a tool or access a resource), I may not be actively watching the screen. As a result, the session can stall while waiting for my response.
A push notification that alerts me to pending permission requests would make remote sessions much smoother. Tapping the notification could take me directly to the approval screen, allowing me to quickly approve or deny the request without constantly monitoring the session.
This would significantly improve the experience for users who manage long-running tasks remotely from their phones.
