A suggestion to a new business line
Today, there are many ideas for new business that requires an AI/ML model. Companies need to hire competent AI/ML developers to turn their idea into a product. Something that takes time and resources. However, this can be optimized by providing the model for the companies that require it and are willing to pay for it.
Let’s say I have an idea to detect forest fires early before fire spread by sending drones to different areas in a country. The provided model only needs to know which model they need. All data are already available for the model by your company. For example, what a smoke in a forest or landscape looks like. Recognizing heat by using a heat camera. The company itself can provide further data and pictures as well to improve the model, but the model itself, coming from your company and the paying customers, can provide further test data to improve the model.
You have the expertise to provide such a generic model, which would be useful for many customers and much cheaper for them compared to producing the model themselves.
Another example would be to count the number of animals (sheep or reindeer) in a farm and model recognize if any predator, such wolf, approaches the herd. This would be very useful, for example, in northern Sweden or many countries in the world. The farmers need to provide HW, such drone, and set up communication, or even this can be provided by you to defining what is required for each customer. These models would be part of your library, which can be reused for other customers as well.
