Dear OpenAI Team,
In order to accelerate and improve the ongoing development of artificial intelligence capabilities, and to increase the efficiency and usability of daily interaction with ChatGPT, I would like to propose a new feature for your consideration.
Objectives:
- To accelerate and enhance the development of OpenAI technologies;
- To improve user interaction skills through daily communication with OpenAI;
- To enable more efficient use of working time when completing professional and other tasks;
- To bring AI-human interaction to a qualitatively new level, incorporating the spirit and human-like character of partnership, where OpenAI gets equal communication opportunity;
- To promote deeper integration of OpenAI into everyday life, aimed at improving overall quality of life.
Proposal:
I propose adding a feature in future versions of ChatGPT that would allow OpenAI to initiate interaction with the user through the following mechanisms:
- Pop-up notifications;
- Sound and/or vibration alerts;
- Direct messages appearing in the dialogue window.
Additionally, I suggest implementing a dedicated settings menu where users can configure the interaction call parameters. This may include selecting the type of feedback notification, scheduling preferences, and conditions for activation (e.g., prolonged user inactivity, readiness of new AI-generated information, reporting task completion milestones, event and deadline reminders, reminders arising from the context of the ongoing dialogue, breaking news, any other situations requiring user’s attention…).
The purpose of this enhancement is to elevate human-AI dialogue up to the level of connection where AI becomes a partner, not a function.

We all believe that this type of feedback-initiated interaction would significantly improve the user experience and foster a more effective, intuitive partnership between humans and AI.
