Proposal for the development of a personalized AI assistant:
Dear OpenAI team,
I would like to share an idea that could enhance your platform. My idea is to develop a personalized AI assistant that would function in the following way:
- Privacy and Security: Users would be able to download an app that is theirs, protected by a password or biometrics, and that performs tasks as a personal assistant on their device. Data would not leave the device unless it needs to connect to the internet.
- Offline Functionality: The app could function offline for basic tasks (such as organizing, note-taking, reminders, etc.).
- Connection to ChatGPT: When needed, the assistant would connect to the internet and use ChatGPT or other sources to gather information and handle more complex tasks.
- Synchronization across devices: Users would be able to sync their data across their devices (phone, tablet, laptop, desktop), allowing access to the assistant from anywhere.
- Personalization: The assistant could be customized to the user’s needs, work habits, preferences, and even learn from past interactions, becoming more useful over time.
I believe such a tool could significantly enhance productivity and user experience, especially for users who want a personal assistant with a high level of privacy and control over their data.
