I’d like to propose a simple but very useful improvement for users who frequently work with image generation in GPT-4o: a visual timer when the image generation limit is reached.
Currently, if you generate too many images in a short period, the system shows a generic message like “You’re generating too many images. Please wait X minutes.” However, there’s no countdown or visual cue to let the user know exactly when it’s safe to try again, unless they track it manually.
This can be frustrating, especially during creative work sessions involving detailed visual prompts.
What I propose:
Show a visible countdown timer (minutes and seconds).
Add a button to retry the last image prompt once the timer reaches zero.
Optionally: a small visual or audio notification when generation is available again.
Optionally: an option to save the current image prompt for reuse.
Why this would be useful:
It improves the user experience without altering any system rules.
Saves time and avoids repeated failed attempts.
Supports creative workflows, especially for users working with complex prompts or series of images.
I believe I’m not the only one who would benefit from this, and I’d appreciate support from the community if others find it valuable too.

Actualmente, si generas muchas imágenes en poco tiempo, el sistema muestra un mensaje genérico como “Debes esperar X minutos”. Pero no hay una cuenta regresiva visible ni una indicación clara que muestre cuándo exactamente se puede volver a intentarlo, a menos que lo controles manualmente.
Esto puede resultar frustrante, sobre todo durante sesiones de trabajo creativo con prompts visuales largos y detallados.
¿Qué propongo?
Mostrar un temporizador visible (cuenta regresiva en minutos y segundos).
Añadir un botón para reintentar el último prompt cuando el temporizador llegue a cero.
(Opcional) Una notificación visual o sonora cuando el sistema vuelva a estar disponible.
(Opcional) Una opción para guardar el prompt visual actual.
¿Por qué sería útil?
Mejora la experiencia de uso sin modificar las reglas del sistema.
Ahorra tiempo y evita intentos fallidos por reintentar antes de tiempo.
Da soporte a flujos de trabajo creativos, especialmente en proyectos visuales complejos o con muchas iteraciones.
