When you create a Project in ChatGPT, all chats within that project should be aware of the content of all other chats in the the project.
The other, currently-existing functions of Projects are only barely useful. The true benefit of grouping chats into a project would be to allow them the context of previous chats.
At the very least, we should be able to copy the share link of an existing chat and paste it into a new chat, telling the AI agent to use this as a source, or even the definitive source.
Why this is important:
The longer a chat gets, the more mistakes ChatGPT makes. This forces users to start new chats, but currently, we need to regurgitate a whole lot of information that is already available inside the workspace. It’s like hiring a new employee - you need to spend time to bring them up to speed. This is not as efficient as it could be.
