Project Improvement: Ability to Save Chats from Different Models or Link to Chats

Projects in ChatGPT are a great idea, but they have one major drawback – it’s not possible to include chats from different models in the same project.

For example, when working on SEO or copywriting, I sometimes use specialized models from the available selection (e.g., one model for strategy and another for writing content). Unfortunately, I can’t save these chats within a single project, which is very impractical.

It would be fantastic if projects allowed at least linking to different chats – they wouldn’t need to be fully active within the project, but simply having the option to reference chats with different models would be a huge improvement.

This would help me organize conversations by client and topic more efficiently, without being restricted to just one model.

I’d appreciate any form of this enhancement – whether as a simple list of links or another method that allows connecting multiple chats within one project.

An additional positive from this feature would be ChatGPT’s responses. As a chat or project goes on, it seems that ChatGPT is able to follow along and provide assistance. There are times though that i notice the model has slowed significantly, or over complicated something, and creating a new chat fixes that. except that the new chat doesn’t have the background information from everything up until that point. I’ve found sometimes that the new chat response style, or project understanding, is then completely thrown off.

The ability to link a previous chat would be great, signaling the model to reference the linked chat for additional information.

Love this idea.
