If I share a chat thread, I cannot move that thread into a project folder. If I create a chat thread in a project I cannot share that thread. This means I can’t organize my threads using project folders because they cannot be shared. Much more is on the way, so I’ll be patient, yet knowing this is coming helps.

The work-around for the moment seems to be to SHARE the thread and copy the URL, then move to a project folder. The url string is still active even if the project url is extended. (see comparative paths)

I have narrowed the challenge more. It seems that I can not move threads I had with any of my custom GPTs into folders. The strings are (for example)

Hope that helps to solve it.
