I’ve been using Projects as separate workspaces since they were introduced, and this recent change is genuinely frustrating.
One of the biggest advantages of Projects was that they stayed separate from my regular chats. I could open a project and focus on that specific area of work without seeing unrelated conversations.
Now all those project chats appear in Recents as well, which makes the sidebar much more cluttered. Instead of helping me stay organised, it creates noise and makes it harder to find the conversations I’m actually looking for.
For me, this is not an improvement. It feels like Projects have lost part of their purpose and now behave more like labels than dedicated workspaces.
Please either restore the previous behaviour or give users a setting to hide Project chats from Recents. Different people work differently, but having the choice would make sense.
