Hey guy, I was wondering if anyone else has the problem that after clicking the update button in the upper left corner codex closes but seems to be stuck in the updating process? No matter how long I wait, I will have to force the app the quit and re-open it.

Can’t say if such problems were specific to Codex.
I do use the Windows VSCode Codex extension and do click the link to reload the extensions. Most of the time it works, albeit killing any active conversations, so have to do so just before starting a new converstation.
However, the never ending wait is something that does happen from time to time and the first thing I do is to start disabling most if not all of the extensions expect the ones needing updating.

I ran into the same issue too. I guess it might be because Windows isn’t very well optimized for it, and I only have 8GB of RAM.
