I wasn’t aware of the usage cap. It caught me by surprise and pi$$ed me off. IMO Open AI should make this far more prominent in the subscription terms.

Used to be lower. And you could have signed up for plus before GPT-4 even existed, same price.

You just need to wait until your oldest messages start to expire from the three hour window, and then you will be able to converse more.
