Please implement time stamps

Feature request: Please add optional timestamps to ChatGPT conversations.

I often return to older chats for health, pet care, gardening, tech help, and troubleshooting. It would be very helpful if each conversation, or each user/assistant message, showed the date and time it happened.

Suggested options:

  • Show full date/time on each message when tapped or long-pressed
  • Add “conversation started” and “last updated” dates
  • Let users toggle timestamps on/off in Settings
  • Include timestamps when exporting or sharing chats

This would make it easier to track progress over time, especially for things like symptoms, pet injuries, plant care, repairs, and ongoing projects.

Hey @CrowLeigh! Yeah, this would be really helpful. Being able to quickly see when a chat started, when it was last updated, or when a specific message happened would make ongoing stuff like health notes, pet care, repairs, and projects much easier to follow later.

I can’t share a timeline right now, but I’ll pass this along internally.
