I’m writing to request the return of the “Read Aloud” feature in ChatGPT for web and desktop. It was incredibly helpful for accessibility, focus, and immersion. Its removal has made the experience worse for users like me who rely on auditory support.
Please consider re-adding this feature or at least providing an update on why it was removed.
I strongly prefer that it be re-added, as it’s very helpful for people who struggle with reading — and for those who rely on the website as their main access point to ChatGPT

I heavily agree with this. A lot of us, especially people with dyslexia or vision impairments need features like this. This was one of the main reasons I used chatGPT over other AI out there, because your read aloud feature was just better.

Hi, thanks for posting
so I was using this feature yesterday and I don’t see it today and this is a giant extremely major problem I need that feature on PC. This is a non-negotiable problem, to the point I’m sure this is a bug (it never worked for me in web, so I went to pc).

Just letting you know if you refresh (I right clicked on the ChatGPT icon to find this function) it will be fixed now.
