I can like messages. I can dislike messages.

I can copy messages. I can retry messages.

Why for the love of god can’t we pin messages? Why should I need an external app in order to organize chat-gpt conversations?

I have notes upon notes I’ve made trying to save important chat messages and logs with gpt, however, I don’t want them in the same place as my own written notes. So they end up unsorted or in a box of their own that I never see again.

Have you ever taken a screenshot of a movie you think looks good in a video ? Have you ever gone back to recall what movie it was? You don’t. You forget, and it gets buried with all the other screenshots.

For people like me, adding a way to preserve messages within the chat-got app, is a very much needed feature

I get what you’re running into. Right now you can pin entire chats, but there isn’t a way to pin or bookmark specific messages within a conversation.

That makes it tough if you’re trying to keep track of key outputs or notes without saving everything externally.

I’ll pass this along as feedback - being able to highlight or pin individual messages inside a chat would definitely make organization a lot easier.
