Personalized Evolving AI GPT Tutor System โ€” Version 2 now live ๐ŸŽ‰

:brain: Personalized, Evolving GPT Tutor and Assistant System โ€” Now Updated with Version 2 :tada:

Iโ€™ve built a customizable GPT framework that acts as a personalized, evolving tutor and/or assistant โ€” one that remembers your context, adapts to your needs, and scaffolds your learning over time.

:rocket: New in Version 2

Version 2 is a major overhaul โ€” redesigned to be more modular, easier to use, and adaptable for any learning goal, project type, or personal workflow.
New users can now start with a clean set of templated .md files, and GPT will guide setup, tracking, and updates across sessions.

Highlights include:

  • Cleaner onboarding and setup instructions
  • Modular file system and version tracking
  • GPT behavior protocols separated into gpt_prompts_*.md
  • New optional health baseline and logging templates
  • Improved tone handling, pacing logic, and file syncing
  • Works with manual or automatic workflows

The system still adapts to your sleep, focus, and mood patterns โ€” and now it can be repurposed for learning, problem-solving, coaching, or executive function support.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: What It Is

This isnโ€™t just a prompt or one-off GPT.

Itโ€™s a file-based assistant that:

  • Tracks your learning progress, obstacles, and wins
  • Adjusts tone and pacing based on your real-world context
  • Stores solutions, reminders, and session history across chats
  • Helps with coding, creative work, studying, and more

Itโ€™s especially helpful for neurodivergent learners, self-directed students, and anyone who wants more structure or scaffolding in their process.

:puzzle_piece: How It Works

The system uses versioned .md files that live in your GPTโ€™s Knowledge section.
You also add a setup prompt (listed on GitHub as Text_for_Prompt_Box.md) into the โ€œInstructionsโ€ text box under Configure. GPT then helps you evolve the system over time.

Key files:

  • instructions_initial.md โ€” governs GPT behavior, pacing, and memory handling
  • daily_log_as_of_initial.md โ€” logs sleep, meds, energy, and focus
  • learning_tracker_initial.md โ€” tracks concepts and stuck points
  • reminders_initial.md โ€” keeps open tasks and goals visible across sessions
  • solution_archive_initial.md โ€” stores reusable outputs or creative work
  • index_initial.md โ€” maps and explains all active files
  • health_baseline_initial.md (optional) โ€” stores patterns that affect focus and support needs

Just download or fork the .md files, adjust them to your needs, and upload them into your own Custom GPTโ€™s Knowledge section. Setup instructions and example prompts are in the README.

:speech_balloon: Feedback Welcome

How are you using it?
What would you change or add?
