Payment issue - Saved card not working, e-mandate failed in India

I’m unable to make payment from India. This was working fine till last month. But now it’s not working. Tried multiple payment methods, multiple cards, clearing the cache, and multiple browsers. Nothing is working. tried from 19/06/2025 to 24/06/2025. The cards are working fine with other sites and shops. International transaction is enabled, and the limit is set.

Is anyone else facing this issue?

Have you been able to write into support@openai.com? They'll have the more context on billing-specific issues and can look directly into your account!

In general, even if the card worked before, banks have been tightening rules and sometimes require you to re‑authorize the merchant or enable “international recurring/e‑mandate” in your mobile banking app or net‑banking portal. A quick check with your bank’s support team might also be able to help.
