Ownership of retrieved text and images - content retrieved by IOS Apps

End users will interact with OpenAI via my IOS app rather than directly. In this case, who is the owner of the input and output as described in OpenAI terms and conditions? Terms of use

Is it me as the App developer or is it the end user? Thanks

Technically, no one is the “owner” as AI-created content is non-copyrightable (although it can certainly recite copyrighted works verbatim). If you deliver the AI output, really no party can sue another for copyright infringement over who owns it (but getting into customer’s data would be shady).

You can make similar overture telling people that they can do whatever they want with the AI output as long as it complies with the overall terms (can’t impersonate…).
