Hi @OpenAI_Support ,
I am reporting a technical deadlock in the API Organization Verification process that is preventing our company from publishing an MCP (Model Context Protocol) App.
The Technical Issue: During the Identity Verification (Persona) phase, a mismatch occurred: the verification was initiated from a staff member’s account, but the ID scanned belonged to the authorized business representative. This resulted in an immediate “Identity rejected” status due to the facial recognition mismatch.
The Current Deadlock: Since that rejection, the organization’s verification status is completely stuck. Any attempt to restart the process by any Owner (including the correct representative) results in the following error modal:
“Unable to verify organization: Unfortunately, verification is not available to your organization at this time.”
Steps taken:
-
Attempted to use different Owner accounts (who were never part of the initial failed attempt).
-
Used incognito windows and cleared browser caches.
-
Contacted general support, but they seem to lack the tools to reset the Persona session for an Organization ID.
Request: We are a legitimate business ready to contribute to the OpenAI ecosystem, but we are currently blocked by an automated safety flag. Could an OpenAI Staff member please manually reset our verification session or provide guidance on how to clear this “at this time” cooldown?
I am happy to provide our Organization ID and Support Ticket number via Direct Message to any authorized OpenAI staff member who can assist.
Thank you!
