Optional Primary Speaker Recognition

Hello OpenAI Team, I have a feature suggestion that I believe could significantly improve ChatGPT Voice. Please consider adding an optional Primary Speaker Recognition feature. With the user’s explicit consent, ChatGPT could register the user’s voice as the primary speaker. During conversations with multiple people, ChatGPT could recognize when the primary user is speaking and when someone else joins the conversation. This would allow ChatGPT to respond to the correct person more naturally, making interactions with friends, family, or colleagues much smoother. This feature is not about identifying gender. Instead, it is about recognizing the registered primary speaker and detecting when another speaker joins in. For privacy, the feature should be entirely optional, require explicit consent, and allow users to remove their voice profile at any time. I believe this would make ChatGPT Voice feel much more natural, personal, and intuitive while maintaining strong privacy controls. Thank you for considering this suggestion.
