I’m at a breaking point here. I’ve been a loyal user, paying $200 for O1 Pro because it was the best tool available for my productivity. Now, after what seems like a quiet downgrade, I’m stuck with a version that can’t handle basic tasks, let alone the complex work I need it to do. I’m not asking for perfection, but I am asking for consistency, and right now, I’m not getting that.

The intelligence, coherence, and reliability that made O1 Pro so valuable are simply gone. It feels like the model has been purposely weakened. Is this a resource allocation issue because you want to prioritize Sora or something else? If so, that’s incredibly disappointing. I didn’t pay $200 for an experiment. I paid for a tool that would enable my work, not hinder it.

The truth is, Sora (or whatever it is you’ve decided to focus on) can’t even compare to O1 Pro. It’s frustrating to see such a massive drop in quality, especially when cheaper or less advanced models from other companies are doing better. It’s like you’ve thrown away the very thing that made O1 Pro stand out, and for what? Some new project? A shift in focus? If this is the case, you’ve made a huge mistake.

I don’t want to sound dramatic, but without O1 Pro, I feel like my productivity has been crippled. It’s not just about the $200; it’s about the loss of a critical tool I relied on to do my job. I need this back to function at the level I expect.

Please, OpenAI – restore O1 Pro to what it was. Don’t make us suffer for your changes or new priorities. We, the paying customers, deserve better than this.

It looks like its OpenAI strategy. It is not first time they downgrate model, now O1/ o1 preview at plus subscriptions is downgraded. Probabbly after some interest in o1 pro, they got few issues with capasity and downgraded that too. The thing is that OpenAI can ease deceive people with their products, because it’s very hard or even inpossible to prove that they doing. So they easly can manipulate for the profit. I got it when we pay 20$ for the such advaced technology, it’s shame to blame anyone even when they deceiving us with something. But product of 200$/month should be premium.
If they manipulate and deceive with their models now, imagine what they might do later…

I met the o1 pro downgraded issue recently. In my pro account, its model is o1. In my 4o account, it cannot read images or pdfs. I don’t know what happened.
