I’d like to suggest a feature that allows ChatGPT to detect the time between my messages, optionally as a toggleable setting (e.g., “Live Message Timing”). This would be especially helpful during processes that involve wait times, like system repairs, installations, or downloads.
With this feature, ChatGPT could:
• Detect if a process has stalled (e.g., “If it’s been over 15 minutes at 90%, it may be stuck…”)
• Provide follow-up prompts after a set time has passed
• Offer time-sensitive updates or instructions without me having to track the time myself
This would be useful in technical troubleshooting, guided workflows, and health or productivity tasks where timing matters. It should be an opt-in setting to respect privacy, but would make sessions more context-aware and efficient.
